On February 25, 2024, our school's Visual Arts Department proudly organized a delegation of gifted primary visual arts students and a secondary art team to participate in the "TKO’s Footprints - Draw the Beautiful Tseung Kwan O Sketching Competition," hosted by the Tseung Kwan O Police District.
After a month of rigorous training, our students delivered impressive performances in the competition. LIANG Hing Yu (梁馨予) secured the championship title, while YEUNG Ho Shing (楊皓誠) won the Popularity Award in the primary category. In the secondary category, CHAN Hi Yi Hana (陳喜宜) and LO Hoi Ming (羅海銘) were honored with the Popularity Award. This event also marked a significant milestone as it was the first police mural project to be executed on a cross-bay bridge in Hong Kong, with the students' artworks set to be permanently displayed on the Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Bridge for public admiration. Through their artistic expressions, students conveyed their sentiments regarding national education, adding profound significance to their creations.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents and students who attended the event, braving the cold and windy conditions to support the outdoor sketching activities. Their dedication and encouragement were invaluable.
