Christian Education Assembly: Christ-centered Family
During the Christian Education period on the morning of May 7th, we gathered around the theme "Christ-centered Family," counting God's blessings together and exploring how to practice the core values of our faith within our closest family relationships.
The assembly commenced with an inspiring time of praise and worship led by the Mok family. Accompanied by the beautiful piano accompaniment of Mrs. Mok, MOK Gabriel (DS5V), MOK Michael (MS1I), and MOK Joycelyn (MS2E) lifted their voices and hearts, leading the entire school in singing "The Worship You Delight In Most" (《祢最喜悅的敬拜》) to offer their most sincere praise to God.
We were deeply honored to invite Mr. Herbert Chan, the Director of Beit Midrash Yeshua, to deliver the message. Mr. Chan analyzed the distinctive characteristics of a "Christian family," highlighting how it differs from a regular household, and shared a powerful personal testimony regarding conflict resolution. He encouraged all students and staff that when we live out Christ's likeness in our daily lives, the peace and wisdom in resolving conflicts derived from the Lord will transform and profoundly impact the entire family.
As promised in Acts 16:31:
"They replied, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.'" 「他們說：當信主耶穌，你和你一家都必得救。」
May this blessing and peace from the Lord guide every one of our families on the graceful journey of building a Christ-centered home.
