December 4th is the annual Constitution Day. The staff and students of our school held a flag-raising ceremony on 2nd December  at the underground playground in observance of Constitution Day. The speech under the national flag was delivered by CHEUNG Yiu Chi Tavia (DS5Y), a student ambassador for the Constitution and Basic Law, who explained the importance of the constitution to fellow students, reminding them of the necessity to understand the constitution and cultivate a spirit of abiding by the law. Additionally, the principal, Dr. Lee, will attend the 2024 National Constitution Day seminar at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4th December, on behalf of the Direct Subsidy Scheme Council.

Five student ambassadors for the Constitution and Basic Law: KWOK Chun Ting, YEUNG See Ting, YEUNG See Yu, CHEUNG Yiu Chi Tavia, and CHENG Hui Wang, hosted a booth game called “Constitution Challenge” at noon. The purpose was to deepen students’ understanding of the constitution and clarify the relationship between the constitution and the Basic Law. The booth opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Li, with students from all levels actively participating and enjoying a pleasant afternoon. In response to the Education Bureau’s strategies of “organic integration”, “natural connection”, “diversified strategies”, “mutual coordination”, “learning within and beyond the classroom”, and “whole-school participation” for promoting national education, teachers and staff also participated in the booth game, demonstrating their understanding of the constitution. The Constitution Day school event concluded successfully.
