In line with our commitment to advancing STEAM education, the Education Bureau, in partnership with the UNESCO Teacher Education Centre, continues to nurture visionary curriculum leaders through the “Exchange cum Training Programme for Hong Kong STEAM Education Leaders.” Over the past two years, the programme has supported hundreds of educators across primary and secondary sectors, building a strong foundation for innovation in schools.
From 1 to 5 June 2026, over 30 education leaders gathered in Shanghai for an intensive learning journey. Representing Logos Academy, Principal Dr Richard Lee and Assistant Principal Ms Tracy Lui were invited to join this inspiring cohort. Together with fellow educators, they explored emerging directions in artificial intelligence, digital learning, and innovation-driven education, gaining insights that will shape future learning for our students and Logosians.
The programme featured thought leadership from internationally renowned experts. Professor Zhang Minxuan shed light on how global assessment data, such as PISA, can inform the evolution of innovation and technology education. Dr Miao Fengchun further expanded participants’ perspectives by unpacking AI literacy and demonstrating how artificial intelligence is transforming teaching and learning practices worldwide.
Beyond seminars, the delegation engaged in immersive school visits and institutional exchanges, including the UNESCO International Institute for STEM Education, Shanghai Experimental School, and the “MoSu Space” innovation ecosystem. Through classroom observations, professional dialogues, and interactions with technology pioneers, participants encountered cutting-edge developments such as embodied intelligence. These experiences sparked meaningful reflection on how innovative practices can be adapted to enrich curriculum design at Logos Academy, empowering Logosians to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
To extend the impact of this experience, sharing sessions will be organised for educators to exchange insights and translate learning into practice, strengthening collective capacity for educational innovation.
