Careers and Life Planning

I. About Us / Aims & Mission

There are three major concerns were set for the Careers and Life Planning Team of the school and a series of implementation plans was carried out:

  1. To foster the collaboration between CLP team and subject departments in integrating life planning education into subject curricula

  2. To provide more career guidance to students through training Homeroom Teachers and other resources

  3. To make full use of internal and external resources in providing more career-related exposure to students

II. Preparation for HKDSE/IB (for MS1)

The school offers the curricula of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in parallel in MS3-MS4. To develop a better understanding of the elective subjects offered in both curricula, MS1 students will study most of the elective subjects throughout their academic year.

To assist MS1 students in selecting their elective subjects and provide more information about the curricula, the school organizes a curriculum briefing for MS1 students and parents. In addition, life planning lessons are conducted to help MS1 students identify their academic strengths and personality traits.
