The "匠。心" Youth Jewelry Making Competition is jointly organized by the Jewelry and Timepiece Training Board, Hong Kong Design Institute, Pro-Act Training and Development Centre (Jewellery), J-HUB Hong Kong Jewelry Workshop, and Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers Association. Students from our school, HKCCCU Logos Academy, in the Visual Arts (DSE and IBDP) program participated in this event and gained valuable experience from professional jewelry workshops and the competition.
The competition provided opportunities for practical skills and design inspiration, allowing students to share and learn from professional jewelry designers. They learned professional techniques in the workshops and received guidance in gem selection, design concepts, and handmade craftsmanship.
This event sparked students' passion for jewelry design, enriching their artistic creativity and practical abilities. They showcased their creativity and talent, creating satisfying works. Through the competition, they gained valuable experience and professional knowledge, laying a foundation for their future academic and career development.
