Flag-raising Ceremony on July 1st – Principal’s Speech under the National Flag

On July 1st, the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, our school held a flag-raising ceremony on the following school day. School principal Dr. Richard Lee delivered a speech under the national flag to celebrate Hong Kong’s return to the motherland. In his speech, the principal quoted President Xi Jinping’s words, “Combine reading thousands of books with traveling thousands of miles,” (讀萬卷書與行萬里路結合起來) encouraging students to actively seek knowledge, broaden their horizons, and contribute to the country and society in the future.
